Some of you may know me from my vids on YouTube, where I’ve been openly sharing my life and journey as a trans woman. It’s been quite a rollercoaster ride over the last while, and, after much consideration, I’m now ready to have top surgery (breast augmentation).

It was incredibly hard being raised and socialised as a boy. Since childhood, I knew I was woman. But I didn’t have the language to articulate or explain why I felt so displaced and why I struggled with my identity and relationships. Only coming in to my gender identity in my late 20’s was rough, but it was by far the best decision I made for myself… to live as myself, openly.

I’m the kind of person to take my time when I make big decisions. I’d been thinking of having top surgery done for about 5 years now. But before I decided to undergo such massive change, I wanted to make sure that it was the right decision for me. And it was. So here we are… Me, asking you to help make that decision a reality.

As a sort of “thank you” (not necessarily for donating, but your general support over the years), I’m hoping to be able to film and document this process in as much detail as I can. This hopefully to make experiences like this more accessible to my trans sibling who may be thinking about affirming themselves through surgery.

The funds raised will be to cover part of the surgery costs, including the surgeon’s fee, any and all assistant fees, theatre time and costs, and routine post-surgery check-ups.

It has been the greatest privilege to be able to have shared so much of my journey with so many of you and I’m hoping to continue doing that going forward.
